Hard and fast.

I hope that I’ll never need to use this knowledge, but did you know that 100bpm is the right speed to perform CPR? That’s also the approximate speed of the Bee Gees’ hit Stayin’ Alive, which features in a new British Heart Foundation advert starring Vinnie Jones.

The BHF still maintain that trained first-aiders should give two breaths into the patient’s mouth, but they are encouraging others to use the hands-only version.
