“Hot on the heel of the New York book in the last entry, it seems to be raining pr… parcels at the moment. So this one’s been sent to me by my mum, and I genuinely don’t know what is in it, it could be anything. It’s a fairly flat package, it’s not a DVD anyway, but let’s find out.

“Ah-ha-ha, Pete Firman, magician, Tricks To Freak Out Your Friends. If you’ve seen the guy on the telly, he’s good. We’ve been to see him live, he’s even better. So I think I shall study this and freak out a few people.

“Carry on.”
