When I go to my blog page (http://www.tumblr.com/blog/knaw), the menu on the right persistently shows Messages - 1, yet when I click on the button or the envelope icon at the top, there are none to read.
Is there a second inbox somewhere that I should be checking? How do I get rid of this phantom message?

EDIT: Thanks for all of the answers. It’s good to know that I’m not the only one, and I’m working on getting rid of the Phantom Message.

might be from someone you blocked. if you block someone there is a notify but the message does not come through.
