Exactly four weeks after I posted this sunny video postcard from my garden, it began snowing.
The figure in orange is our postman, and the background music is Heaven For The Weather by The Streets, a good track from an otherwise awful album.

Before you start complaining about the summer heat, let’s take a look back at winter. There is no speech so no transcription, and the background music is Perry Como with It’s a Good Day.
On a personal level, it’s also payday and a long weekend, so I’ll catch you next week and next month.

“I’m just about to clear the snow away from the driveway but it’s at that awkward depth where it’s not quite deep enough to use a shovel but I think it’s going to be a bit too deep to use a brush. so I don’t know how I’m going to get on with it, but let’s find out.

“Well we did have a little bit more snow falling, but fortunately nothing too serious. I’ve put salt on the path and I’ve made sure that all the paths stay clear as best as I can just now. As I film this, the sun’s actually just coming out but we’ll see how long that lasts. Anyway, time for some lunch, I think.
